What's GREEN got to do with I.T.?

What is it?

I.T. accounts for 2% of global CO2 emissions, 4% in the UK. While I.T. is part of the problem, it has the potential to be a large part of the solution. I.T. and service management professionals are increasingly being called on to minimize the organization’s environmental impact. So having an understanding of sustainability and environmental management and the part I.T. and service management professionals are expected to play is crucial.

This course will give you an understanding of sustainability and ‘green’ requirements, and what they mean for I.T. and service management. You will also gain a greater appreciation for the roles and responsibilities you will be expected to take on.
